Do you have experience and interest in agile transformation?
Imagine yourself in a role where you can guide teams to understand and lift their roadblocks for project delivery. You want to teach them the skills they need to be able to adapt quickly and implement change more effectively. In this role, you will work together to define the transformation need, assess the current state, and define a transformation approach. You’ll also test this approach using experimentation, and subsequently scale solutions based on results.
As an Agile Coach at Materialise, you will work with non-software-oriented teams who are finding their way to start working in the agile way of working to deliver a variety of products/solutions, such as software, hardware, or even process improvement.
Unlike a typical software agile team, we bring multiple disciplines and roles together, so you are expected to work with a variety of profiles such as hardware, process, bio-safety, research engineers: you name it! This is a great opportunity to join our enthusiastic and growing team.
- Work with multiple agile teams (up to 10 people)
- Coach teams to utilize one or a combination of agile frameworks to achieve their goals
- Remove impediments that stand in the way of team productivity and performance
- Create and support a transparent process that engages the entire agile team
- Help the delivery team create high-value products/solutions
- Ensure the delivery team is working effectively
- Create transparency in processes
- Help the team understand and follow the goals, scope of work, and product/solution domain
- Coach the delivery team in organizational environments
- Help employees and stakeholders understand and implement Agile practices
- People management (assist with goal setting, people development, regular follow-ups, and performance review)
- Drive the establishment of the learning organization through leading, training, and coaching
Experience and skills needed for this role:
- 5+ years of experience in an agile coach or scrum master role in total
- Working experience with non-software-oriented agile teams
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Great coaching, mentoring, training, and facilitation skills
- Creative approach to problem-solving, with a strong customer focus and commitment to deliver
- Fluency in English and Dutch
- Leading or participating in an agile community of practice
- Leading or participating in agile/scaled agile transformation processes
- Work in SAFe/LESS or any other scaled frameworks
- Work and coach distributed teams
