Database Administrator
Vector Synergy is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
LocationBraine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
Security ClearanceNATO Secret.
Reference NoC004 555 / Braine-l'Alleud.
Responsibilities- Monitor performance of assigned DB systems and implement measures ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
- Define DB backup strategies and maintain a valid recovery plan.
- Define and implement upgrade strategy to keep the DB environment current.
- Strong knowledge of at least two DBMS technologies (Oracle, MySQL Server, Postgre
SQL). - Good understanding of MySQL High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutions (InnoDB Cluster, Replicaset, Cluster Set, Replication).
- Good understanding of ORDS, Apache HTTP and Tomcat Administration.
