Technical Support Engineer

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to support industrial customers in maintaining and optimizing their automation systems. This role is primarily remote from Belgium
, with occasional travel to Hoofddorp, Netherlands for on-site support or meetings. You will act as a technical expert, ensuring system reliability and minimizing operational downtime through effective remote support.

• Provide remote technical assistance for industrial automation systems, including PLC and HMI solutions.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues in customer installations.
• Support customers with system configuration, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams on advanced technical cases.
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Technical education in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in technical support, commissioning, or troubleshooting of PLC and HMI systems in industrial environments.
• Solid understanding of industrial automation architectures and processes.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple support cases remotely.
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch

• Dutch language skills are mandatory for this position.
