Systems Analyst, IT Consultant, Data Analyst
Location: Town of Belgium
In the context of our Transformation plan for P&C Retail, we are looking for a Business Analyst (functional analyst) to strengthen the ‘P&C Retail Servicing’ team.
In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining various applications used by our brokers and internal employees within the P&C Retail domain. These applications support Brokers & customer service ( Broker Front-end, Self servicing for Customer documents, … ) and enable efficient management of our portfolio of contracts within P&C Retail, ensuring optimal operational performance.
As a Business Analyst / Functional analyst your main tasks include:
- Collaborate with Business stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed functional requirements for the IT implementation team.
- Work closely with the Solution Architect, Business Architect, other Business and System Analysts, and the Implementation Team. Act as a central point of contact, facilitating communication and ensuring cohesion within the team.
- Serve as a key liaison for other teams involved in delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Actively participate in the preparation and execution of tests to validate the team's deliverables.
- Play an active role in Agile ceremonies, including Quarterly Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrum, as part of the Agile delivery process.
What you bring to the table?
- Possess 3 to 4 years of experience in a complex IT project environment, ideally within a Scrum team setting.
- Preferably have experience in non-life insurance; alternatively, experience in the financial sector.
- Demonstrate a structured approach and methodical thinking.
- Communicate clearly and transparently, tailoring your communication to your audience.
- Able to understand and interpret IT architecture, which is essential for accurately defining the requirements of various solution components.
- Capable of engaging with both business stakeholders and technical teams, understanding architecture, business analysis, and the implications of technical implementations. From this, you can distil high-level overviews and present them in an understandable manner.
- Develop and maintain a strong internal network to foster collaboration across AXA’s teams. Work independently with a high degree of adaptability and teamwork.
- Solution-oriented with strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach, enabling the creation of detailed and relevant reports.
- A quick learner with a strong desire for knowledge, proactive, and autonomous in your work.
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with a basic understanding of the other national language, and a good command of English.
