SAP Consultant, Systems Analyst
You will work closely with the business to maintain and support SAP applications for financial management, playing a key role in both evolutionary and corrective maintenance projects.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Supporting and maintaining SAP systems, including participation in project assignments
- Preparing functional analyses in close collaboration with the business
- Monitoring priorities and reporting to the ICT team leader
- Performing technical analyses and configuration based on functional specifications
- Coordinating and executing tests, including defining and updating test cases
- Maintaining documentation, including technical operational manuals and user materials
- Handling tickets within the incident management process
- Complying with internal IT standards and change/release management processes
Essential experience and skills:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in operational management of SAP systems
- At least 5 years of proven knowledge and experience with setting up, maintaining and adapting the SAP FICO module, both in SAP R/3 and/or S/4
HANA - At least 3 years of proven experience with SAP FICO, specifically around AR (Account Receivable, order to pay, outgoing invoicing from SAP)
- At least 3 years of proven experience with the SAP FICA module
- At least 3 years of proven knowledge and experience with the SAP SD module, both in SAP R/3 and S/4
HANA - Proven experience with ERP/SAP business process analysis, process and technical specifications
- Proven knowledge and experience with using Peppol for sending invoices from an SAP system
- Ability to debug ABAP programmes to investigate and understand how a programme works
- Fluent Dutch (CEFR level C2)
Valuable additional experience:
- Experience with in the Belgian energy sector
- Experience with ABAP development
This assignment runs from early November 2026 to the end of October 2027, with the possibility of extension.
The role is based in the Ghent region. Hybrid working is possible in consultation with the team leader, with an expectation of being on site at least once a week. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.
Working language is Dutch.
