The energy transition is one of the major challenges facing our society, a challenge that our generation must take up for future generations. The most effective trajectory to support this transition is based on a significant increase in electricity consumption (+50% in 10 years) and renewable production (x 2.4 in 10 years). The future is full of challenges, and our role in ensuring the success of the energy transition is decisive.

Therefore, we are seeking a highly talented and dynamic Strategy & transformation leader to join the Strategy Implementation and Transformation Department. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work closely with senior leadership to execute transformative measures that will propel our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Support: Assist in the coordination and follow-up of strategic Tier 1 programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  
  Build top executive-level presentations for Elia Transmission Belgium Executive committee by deep diving, reducing complexity, filtering, and summarizing cross-division topics before they reach the executive table.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on KPIs, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track.
• Deadline Management: Follow up on timelines and proactively identify risks or delays, proposing mitigation actions.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and external partners. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements and contribute to best practices in project governance.

• You have a master’s degree in civil engineering or business engineering, a master's degree in science or an equivalent degree.
• This position is open to recent graduates (Master’s degree) and candidates with a maximum of 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
• General knowledge of the organization of the energy market.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Comprehensive understanding of how digital technology, automation and artificial intelligence can support a transformation strategy.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong project management skills and experience with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with decision-makers at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to challenge ideas and norms with thoughtful arguments and communicate clearly conclusions and recommendations.

• You have an excellent command of Dutch and/or French and a very good command of English.
