Marketing & Event Coordinator

We are growing and looking for a Marketing & Event Coordinator who can elevate Cambrian’s visibility within the start-up ecosystem, strengthen our community, and translate our legal expertise into accessible, engaging communication.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will combine creative work, organisational skills, and community-building. You will help shape how people across the ecosystem experience and connect with Cambrian.

You will strengthen our online presence by:

• producing and publishing social media content (Linked In, Instagram, …)
• gathering input and turning it into newsletters and articles
• managing website updates and coordinating changes with external partners
• translating insights into clear, visual content for founders and investors

You will build relationships and experiences that connect Cambrian to the ecosystem by:

• organising founder dinners, partner events, and workshops from A to Z
• managing our presence at tech festivals (logistics, materials, planning)
• maintaining relationships with partners, accelerators, VCs, and co-working spaces
• identifying opportunities for new partnerships or collaborations
• representing Cambrian at relevant ecosystem events

You will help ensure consistent and professional media visibility by:

• coordinating press mentions, announcements, and media relations
• maintaining an up-to-date media list
• drafting speaker bios, event summaries, and press notes

You will keep internal processes smooth and structured by:

• collecting content from our associate teams
• monitoring deadlines and approval flows
• managing and refining our internal marketing calendar

Someone who gains energy from getting things done, who adapts easily, and who enjoys the mix of writing, organising, communicating, and connecting.

• several years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, events, and/or community work
• excellent speaking, writing and editing skills in both Dutch and English
• strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• comfortable collaborating with senior professionals (lawyers, founders, investors)
• digitally skilled (social media, basic design)
• energetic, social, and tech-ecosystem-savvy
• hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented

• experience in the start-ups, VC, or tech scene
• experience in professional services (law, consulting, finance)
• enhanced design or video skills
