Location: Town of Belgium

As Marketing Manager, you play a key role in the continued growth of our organisation. You develop and translate the marketing strategy into concrete, high-impact actions, with a strong focus on product and packaging development, brand positioning and market insights.

You combine analytical thinking with creative drive, work closely with R&D, Sales and Business Development, and lead a multidisciplinary marketing team. In this role, you actively contribute to building strong brands as well as successful private label propositions within an international FMCG context.

You report to the Business Development Director and are based at our headquarters in Zonnebeke.

Your responsibilities
  • Product & packaging development: You lead product and packaging development, implement and safeguard the innovation process, and translate consumer and market insights into successful product concepts together with R&D and Sales.
  • Market & competitive analysis: You analyse market, consumer and competitor data and convert these insights into clear reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Brand strategy & activation: You define and safeguard brand positioning and execute targeted brand activation campaigns via social media, trade fairs, events and other channels.
  • Business development support: You support strategic growth projects with market insights, analyses and well-founded recommendations for new markets and categories.
  • External taste tests & international collaboration: You coordinate international taste tests and translate results into concrete product optimisations.
  • Leadership & team development: You lead a multidisciplinary team (9 FTE) and build a strong, motivated and high‑performing department.
This is what we expect from you:
  • You hold a master’s degree in marketing, communication, economics or a similar field and have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership marketing role within FMCG or the food industry.
  • You have proven experience in product and brand management, preferably in a mid‑sized environment where private label and branded products coexist.
  • You combine strategic and analytical thinking with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach and are able to translate market and consumer data into clear decisions and actions.
  • You are an inspiring, coaching leader who encourages ownership and supports people’s growth in a changing and international context.
  • You work proactively and entrepreneurially, remain calm under pressure, and communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English (knowledge of German is a plus).
