About Your Next JobWe are searching for the best talent for a Senior Operations Support Specialist in Geel.
The Senior Operations Support Specialist has the task to own and investigate quality incidents (process and contamination) across the different business units.
You will be a member of the Operations Support team, a diverse team investigating quality incidents in the different production units.
Working in partnership with multifunctional groups and collaborating with the business across departments is a crucial aspect of this role.
An analytical and hands‑on personality, passionate about finding the root cause of a problem, is key.
Experience in conducting and documenting quality incident investigations is highly valued.
About Your Skills and Experience Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor's (with relevant years of experience) or master’s degree preferably in Chemical Engineering or Process technology (bioengineering, industrial engineering or chemistry), or consistent track record in an industrial, operational environment.
- Analytical and passionate about finding the root cause of an incident is required.
- Critical thinking when defining SMART corrective/preventive actions.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Ability to lead a multi‑functional team during a complex quality investigation.
- A comprehensive understanding of Quality & Compliance is an advantage.
- Being able to work structured and set priorities is required.
- Experience in conducting and documenting incident investigations is highly valued.
- Hands‑on mentality and affinity for chemical manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience in working in a chemical batch plant is highly valued.
- Is able to build‑up and maintain a network within and outside the company to be able to involve different experts.
- Fluently speaking and reading Dutch.
