PFAS, short for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are widely incorporated into numerous consumer and industrial products for their distinctive properties that repel stains, water, and oil. Nevertheless, their omnipresence and persistence have incited increasing concern regarding public and environmental health. Owing to their resilience against natural degradation, PFAS persist as stubborn pollutants across soil, groundwater, surface bodies of water, and within living organisms, consequently threatening human health.

In light of this issue, there is a critical push to innovate and implement efficient methods for the removal or diminishment of PFAS in the environment. In line with these efforts, IBA is dedicated to creating an environmental solution to address PFAS contamination through the application of high-energy electron beam technology.

We are seeking a technologist who will assist our internal R&D team and contribute to a collaborative project that involves both industrial partners and universities.

• Hardware setup and samples preparation
• Analyzing and interpreting data
• Reporting and presenting results
• Writing reports, reviews and summaries
• Participate in the analysis of results
• Managing orders for reagents and laboratory equipment
• Ensuring that health and safety standards are met

You have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatographic and MS techniques (a plus)
• Strong sense of organization and planning skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Fluency in French (C1 level)
• Good knowledge of English (B2 level)
