POST-DOCb>

Department of Management

.: 19/NAUKA/KZ/P/25

Competition for a post-doctoral position in the research project (no. 2024/55/I/HS6/03043) entitled “Labour Flows:
Infrastructures of Labour Power Flows through Warehouses in Europe”, carried out under the Lead Agency Procedure within the Weave Programme, which has received funding from the National Science Centre under the “OPUS 28 LAP/Weave” call.

Information about the project:

The project entitled “Labour Flows:
Infrastructures of Labour Power Flows through Warehouses in Europe”, carried out at Kozminski University and managed by Miłosz Miszczyński, PhD, Labour Flows will examine how contemporary forms of employment in European logistics are shaped by labour flows and the infrastructures that enable them. The project will move beyond the traditional view of work as a static relationship between employer and employee, focusing instead on the socio-material systems—such as regulations, intermediaries, social networks, and logistical infrastructures—that sustain labour precarity.

By analysing warehouse centres in Poland, Belgium, and Austria, Labour Flows will reveal how these infrastructures operate, when they fail, and how they can be transformed. The project aims to develop a new theoretical and methodological framework to better understand and reimagine the future of work in the logistics sector under global capitalism.
