Responsibilities- We are the country provider for Verification of Payee in Belgium and have achieved significant market coverage in the Benelux region, establishing ourselves as a key partner to the nation's financial sector. We are looking for a high-impact individual to join our team to deepen our existing relationships and drive strategic account growth in Belgium.
- Own and nurture executive level relationships with existing accounts (ca 4 major banks) and NBB
- Strategic growth
- Drive ARR growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Customer Success Manager
- Pitch and promote new products in accordance with clients’ business goals
- Collaboration and leadership
- Partner with CSM Belgium and HQ internal teams to deliver seamless client experience
- Act as the face and representation of Surepay for Benelux market
- Market insight and advisory
- Build and maintain relationships with new organisations of interest (ie kvk, politie, etc)
- Maintain understanding of the fraud landscape and advise clients on industry trends and regulatory changes.
You’ll be the face and voice of Surepay in the Benelux so we are looking for a self-starting, entrepreneurial colleague. This is a remote role in Belgium but you will be part of the business development team in Utrecht, NL and we value collaboration and teamwork strongly. You have no issues reaching out and asking for what you need to succeed and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
As a senior sales or account management professional you have extensive experience managing relations on C level, preferably in SaaS/fintech and experience with financial institutions as clients. Furthermore, you have:
- Proven track record of managing (enterprise) accounts in Belgium and achieving revenue growth
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive business cases
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Understanding of fintech ecosystems (APIs, digital banking, regulatory frameworks)
