BUILD WITH ME #SOLVE IT WITH SKILL, TACKLE IT WITH PASSIONWe are expanding, which means we are looking for an additional foreman with experience in industrial assembly. As an industrial assembly foreman at Samoco, you will lead various lifting, hoisting and assembly activities at different companies.
Your tasks as an Industrial Assembly Foreman:- Lead your team in assembling/disassembling equipment (e.g. fans and pumps).
- Assist in the assembly, alignment and dismantling of steel structures.
- Ensure the safe and correct assembly/disassembly of the flanges (checking the documents and conditions, selecting the correct seal, carrying out the necessary lifting work, etc.).
- Manage lifting operations (construction and crane rigging): selecting the correct lifting equipment and securing the loads.
- Ensure the work is carried out safely and monitor your team accordingly (e.g. use of PPE).
- Follow up on administration (e.g. LMRA).
- No two days are the same (diverse, exceptional projects and varied types of customers).
- Manage other fitters, motivate them and support them in improving their skills.
- Report transparently to the site manager and contact him/her if you have any doubts.
- Have experience with construction welding.
- Have experience with rigging work.
- Have experience with flange assembly.
- Assets (but not mandatory): a safety certificate (VCA), forklift certificate, electric crane certificate, aerial work platform certificate (IS‑005) and telehandler certificate (IS‑032). You can work towards obtaining all your required certificates at our training centres during your career with us.

- Be communicative and sociable. Use an appropriate communication style.
- Conduct yourself in a proper and fair manner. Don’t shy away from confronting people about inappropriate behaviour.
- Be not afraid of getting your hands dirty or of working at height.
- Adopt a flexible attitude towards tasks and working hours.
- Put safety as your number 1 priority.
- Be fluent in Dutch (speaking and reading).
- Have a B driving licence.
- Permanent contract – full‑time position.
