We are looking for a passionate developer to join a great open source project. Your work will directly contribute to Odoo's core and millions of users worldwide.
Job OverviewAfter 2 weeks of functional training and 2 weeks of technical training, you will join one of our ~20 technical teams (e-commerce, accounting, JS framework, bugfix, tech support, etc.) and work on real production code. You will own your responsibilities and collaborate with experienced developers.
Tech Stack- Languages: Python, Java Script
- Database: PostgreSQL
- Collaboration: Git Hub
- Development Model: 80% open‑source, 20% enterprise code
- Frameworks: ORM, JavaScript framework (OWL), Templating Engine (QWeb), Spreadsheets, etc.
- Business apps – Point of Sales, Inventory, Accounting.
- Client framework – OWL.
- Server framework – Postgre
SQL‑based ORM. - Website builder – no‑code alternative to Shopify/Wix/Wordpress.
- API connectors – payment gateways, delivery providers, ChatGPT, etc.
- Odoo.sh – cloud platform.
- Customer services – bug fixing, tech support, consultancy.
- Security – code reviews, pen testing, best practices.
- Database migration – SQL and Python scripts.
- Develop and improve applications.
- Take ownership of your work.
- Back‑end and front‑end development.
- Challenge ideas on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Experience with several programming languages.
- Object‑oriented programming.
- Passion for development.
- Quick and autonomous learning.
- English reading and writing.
- Contribution to open‑source projects.
- Bachelor or Master degree.
- Python, JavaScript knowledge.
- Linux, Git Hub familiarity.
