LIZY is looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to join our team.

• You enjoy dealing with technical challenges involving complex data flows and integration of third party systems.
• You thrive in a collaborative development environment, managing inputs from frontend engineers, product, and business stakeholders.
• You can drive developments from solution identification to implementation, setting proper quality standards for sustainable development.
• You understand and manage the impact that technical choices have on future developments and the workflow of users.
• You feel comfortable following an intense pace of delivery, while keeping a close eye to quality in an agile environment.

• Experience: You have 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer. You have a proven track record delivering end-to-end solutions with Python in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS/Google Cloud/Azure). Knowledge in Django, CDK, FastAP, Graph
  
  QL, distributed architectures, Domain Driven Design and serverless applications are a plus, as well as experience leveraging foundational AI models. You are familiar with ORM and have experience with relational databases (SQL) in high availability production environments.
• Quality focus: You understand and manage your technical decisions with a sustainable long term approach, focusing on industry best practices, testing and robust solution design patterns. You take advantage of the latest AI trends to improve the quality of your work. Experience with Python testing frameworks is a must.
• Entrepreneurial: You love building quality solutions, and dare to propose novel approaches to solve our technical development challenges.
• Growth Mindset: You’re always keen to learn new things, share your knowledge, adapt to change, and learn from past experiences.
• Work ethic: you have a strong professional pride in your work and ensure you always deliver, no matter what.
• Communication: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, aren’t afraid to ask questions and provide technical feedback to your colleagues. You are proactive in sharing your progress, victories and challenges when facing implementation issues.
• Leadership: you are comfortable leading long term development projects, providing technical, architectural and growth advice to other engineers working with you.
• Fluent in English
