Diegem# Software Test Engineer## Your Role As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications that support life-changing solutions. You will work closely with development teams to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies that validate software functionality, performance, and compliance with medical device  this role you will play a key role in:
* Developing and implementing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex software systems in the medical device industry
* Performing manual and automated testing across different phases of the software development lifecycle
* Designing and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage
* Analyzing test results, documenting defects, and working with development teams to resolve issues
* Conducting regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality
* Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on testability and quality aspects
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for medical device software testing and validation## Your Profile
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with preference for experience in medical device or regulated industries
* Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (such as Selenium, Python, Java)
* Familiarity with defect tracking systems and test management tools
* Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
* Experience with performance testing, security testing, and API testing
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical device software (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA) is a plus Experience level
