Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional to join our legal team as a Legal Discovery Specialist. The ideal candidate has experience managing discovery processes, handling both electronic and physical documents, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. This role supports attorneys and case managers by organizing discovery materials, facilitating document review, and coordinating information across platforms.

By efficiently managing discovery workflows, organizing evidence, and ensuring compliance, this position saves valuable time for legal staff and enhances efficiency, accuracy, and case preparedness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, and maintain discovery documents, both digital and physical.
  • Manage and update e-discovery platforms and databases (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull, Concordance).
  • Assist attorneys with preparation of discovery responses, subpoenas, and document productions.
  • Draft summaries and reports of discovery materials for attorney review.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies, legal standards, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Monitor deadlines and assist with calendar management for discovery-related tasks.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to clarify or gather discovery information.
  • Support legal staff with tracking, indexing, and managing discovery documents.
  • Previous experience in legal discovery, case management, or related support roles.
  • Familiarity with e-discovery platforms and legal databases.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
