We are seeking Armed Security Officers to become an integral part of our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect the premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.
We work primarily in the cannabis industry, but we only work with fully licensed and legally operating businesses.

- Work with client to enforce security procedures
- Conduct patrols and perimeter checks
- Maintain command presence and customer service
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Monitor surveillance cameras
- Report on daily activities and any security incidents
- Valid Guard Card Permit through the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS)
- Training certificates to support active Guard Card (40‑hour certificates and 8‑hour continuing education courses)
- Valid Exposed Firearm Permit
- 21 years or older
- Reliable transportation
- Cell phone that can receive text messages and has internet access
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
- American Red Cross CPR certification (we can help get this)
- Customer service oriented
- Active listening and critical thinking
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Position starts at $20.00/hour, ranging up to $21.00/hour after 90‑day full‑time employment evaluation and performance review
