Lifesharing Support Professional

The
** Life Sharing Support Professional
** is responsible to provide an array of supports to the Life sharing individual and their family. They are responsible for the care of the individuals supported through Life sharing, ensuring that the unique needs of each person are met.

Responsibilities include scheduling and escorting individuals to doctors' appointments, maintaining individual records, assisting with van runs, organizing files, computer work, and assisting in emergency situations.

Must have good people skills, good communication skills, positive approaches and experience with people with developmental disabilities.

Hours are typically 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday but will occasionally require flexibility. Great team atmosphere.

* Qualifications:

*** High School Diploma/GED
* 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
* Valid and Current driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (
** required)** **
* * Driver's License, insurance and registration must be aligned with state of permanent residence
***** Ability to understand, speak, read, and follow instructions in English
* Clear criminal record and child abuse check in accordance with state requirements
* Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
