This position is integral to an interdisciplinary team model focused on client-centered care. As Wellness Support Worker, you will engage in advocacy, provide crucial life skills assistance, and deliver resources to support vulnerable populations. Your duties will also include co-facilitating community support groups and educational outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical and emotional support tailored to clients
• Engage in advocacy and resource provision for clients
• Co-facilitate community education and support initiatives
• Report client progress back to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with local agencies for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Certificate in Community Social Services or equivalent
• Two years of relevant experience working with populations
• Valid Class V BC Driver’s license for driving needs
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build trust and solve client challenges
