Overview
The Project Controls Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. This position works closely with Project Managers and the finance team to track project performance, manage budgets, and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
- Implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Financial Management:
- Track and analyze project costs, revenue, and forecasts.
- Manage change orders and contract modifications.
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular project reports and key performance indicators.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support financial closeout processes.
- ERP and Systems:
- Utilize ERP systems to manage project data and workflows.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Team
Collaboration:- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project success.
- Provide financial guidance and support to project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, Math, or another related field.
- Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Entry‑level role; 0–2 years of experience.
