The Director, Leadership Giving for the Harris Health Strategic Fund leads strategic fundraising initiatives that inspire philanthropy and strengthen donor relationships in support of Harris Health's mission. This role oversees a portfolio of major and annual gift prospects, developing and executing strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Collaborating with internal leaders and partners, the Director drives annual giving campaigns, expands the donor base, and ensures a seamless donor experience through innovative engagement and stewardship.
Minimum Qualifications- Degrees:
Bachelor in Non-profit management, business, marketing, or related field. - Licenses & Certification:
Certified Fund-Raising Executive (Preferred). - Work Experience:
Seven (7) Years in major gift fundraising, development, annual giving or related field - healthcare or comparably complex organization preferred;
Three (3) Years generating and leading fundraising programs for annual giving to establish high-quality individual relationships with donors. - Management
Experience:
Five (5) Years managing fundraising goals, setting strategy, prioritizing, and building relationships through management of major gift prospects, with knowledge of corporate and foundation relations and experience enlisting senior level volunteers, committees and donors. - Communication

Proven track record of successful annual gift fundraising in a major gift setting. Knowledge and experience in the nature and dimensions of philanthropy, ethics, motivations for giving and volunteering, research and cultivation practices, standard fundraising techniques, and fundraising database systems and reporting. Requires the ability to work with and motivate a broad spectrum of people ranging from staff and trustees to healthcare partners and donor prospects.
