The Per Diem RN at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic provides specialized nursing care in a rapid treatment setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, medication administration, and patient education in compliance with legal and professional standards. This role requires experience in emergency or ICU nursing, proficiency with EMRs, and relevant certifications such as BLS and ACLS.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The RTC Registered nurse is responsible for applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills to promote the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards

• This position will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to RTC patients through education, nursing assessment, and administration of medication

• The RTC Registered Nurse assesses physiological and psychosocial needs, implements nursing interventions, and communicates patient concerns to the healthcare team

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Nursing

• Valid and current Texas RN license

• BLS through American Heart Association

• ACLS within 3 months of employment

• Completion annually of 10 CEU's related to Emergency Care

• 5+ years of RN experience OR 2+ years of experience in ICU and/or Emergency Department

• Experience with EMRs

• Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy

• Basic Computer Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Nursing

• ACLS

• CCRN

• ICU experience or 5+ years of experience in Emergency Department

• EPIC experience

• IV access experience

• Port access experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
