The Senior Security Dispatcher must have three years of experience within the Harris Health System Dept of Public Safety Security Communications and must meet the competency requirements for this role. Responsible for monitoring security, CCTV, and emergency systems and dispatching appropriate resources to emergency and non-emergency situation based on customer/staff needs. Communicates information as needed and required. Mentors and assists with the development of dispatch team members.
Minimum QualificationsDegrees:
Associates preferred
High School Diploma/GED
Licensure & CertificationNCSO Security Officer - Must be registered by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security within 90 days of employment.
AHSS Advance training certificate within 90 days of employment.
Other Requirements:
ICS IS-144 TERT certification should be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Above average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/Reports
- MS Outlook, PC - Familiarity with electronic access control, CCTV systems, and computer aided dispatch systems.
- Multiple client software systems to be operated.
- Typing - 20wpm
