3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security‑related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
