The Cook is a vital team member who will serve as a leader in the kitchen, working closely alongside the dietary director, dietary assistant, dietary aides, and other cooks to guide all food functions and implement current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern skilled nursing facilities, long‑term care, and assisted facilities.
Cook Responsibilities- Responsible for the timely meal preparation of all meals consistent with the posted dining schedule and approved menus.
- Prepare meals in a timely manner and manage time effectively.
- In charge of pulling and properly storing meat.
- Ensure all temperature logs and cleaning schedules are completed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience as a Cook or similar role.
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.
