Position Details:

• Title: Travel Speech Therapist

• Location: Belle Fourche, South Dakota

• Shift: Day shift (5 8-hour shifts per week)

• Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description: As a Travel Speech Therapist, you will:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain and enhance their communication and swallowing abilities.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

• Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and quality of life.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Active Speech Therapist license in the state of South Dakota or eligibility to obtain one.

• Certifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

• Additional certifications relevant to SNF care are a plus.
