Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Spearfish Canyon Healthcare is looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the long‑term care unit at our beautiful skilled nursing facility. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Healthcare values.

• Provide comprehensive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) care for long term care residents
• Taking and monitoring patient vital signs
• Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
• Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
• Offer emotional support and education about treatments and procedures
• Comply to all regulatory protocols and policies related to infection control and nursing care
• Observance of patient diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician
• Assist in the provision of emergency care

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license issued by South Dakota required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
