Project Controls Engineer

Project Engineer, Controls (Bellefontaine facility)

We are supporting hiring efforts for our long-standing client, a global automotive glass manufacturer.

• Oversee planning, development, installation and startup of equipment.
• Ensure that budgets, project schedules and OSHA compliance are maintained.
• Assist mechanical engineers, maintenance and production with any concerns related to electrical controls.
• Support development of power plans for new equipment.
• Direct maintenance staff and contract electricians assigned to projects.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years’ PLC and HMI Programming - Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley preferred.
• Skilled in Robotics - Fanuc or Yaskawa preferred.
• Skilled in problem-solving disciplines such as Six Sigma, KT, Kaizen, Fishbone, 8D, etc.
• Ability to understand one-line and electrical diagrams and drawings.
• Experience with industrial projects.
