Join Clayton’s growing team in Bellefontaine, OH as a Home Consultant. In this role you will create a world‑class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process.

• Protect the Clayton brand and maintain integrity throughout the sales process.
• Develop expertise in mortgage concepts, product knowledge and sales presentation skills.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow‑up via the company CRM.
• Assist in merchandising by selecting inventory, decorating models and maintaining home appearance.
• Build a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home‑center traffic.
• Present potential buyers with house tours, demonstrate features and add value.
• Set appointments for home‑center visits using prospect databases and converting ads/Web leads.
• Participate in all sales meetings, trainings and company‑sponsored functions.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and assist with miscellaneous duties.

• Minimum 6 months of relationship‑driven B2C sales experience.
• Understanding of a retail environment.
• Ability to obtain required manufactured‑home sales licensing.
• Knowledge of legal requirements governing manufactured‑home sales.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Availability to work required schedule, including Saturdays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Capability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift promotional items up to 75 lbs.
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

• $50,000 base salary plus a lucrative commission plan.
