Position: Academic Office Administrative Assistant -

Overview

Albert College is an independent day and boarding school for students in PK to Grade 12 in Belleville, Ontario. The Five A’s – academics, arts, athletics, active citizenship and adventure – guide the student experience and the college’s approach to education.

Role

The Academic Office Administrative Assistant is a key member of the Academic and Guidance Office, working with faculty, staff, parents and students to ensure online systems are accurate, well-managed and accessible.

Primary function

To provide administrative and technological support to the Academic and Guidance Office.

Responsibilities
  • Have superior organizational skills and the ability to work within deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to manage unexpected events and balance several ongoing projects.
  • Manage the learning management system (Edsby) and ensure access for all community members.
  • Support other systems such as Edsembli, Reach and Microsoft accounts.
  • Support general office administration tasks, coordinating, preparing and maintaining functions of the office.
  • Provide professional customer service.

Additional language skills are considered an asset.

Compensation and application

Starting Date: August 10, 2026

Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000, determined by relevant work experience and qualifications.
