Boyer Auto Group is a family-owned and operated dealer group that has proudly served communities across Ontario for over 40 years. We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented  Accounting Assistant  to support our  Boyer Ford Stirling  team.

This role is critical to the smooth operation of both our financial and administrative functions and is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, team-based environment.

This is a full-time maternity leave position with the potential to lead to a permanent full-time opportunity within the Boyer Auto Group.

Responsibilities

Assisting with daily bookkeeping and accounting entries (AP/AR).

Supporting payroll data entry and purchase order documentation.

Reconciling accounts and assisting with the month-end close.

Generating and organizing financial reports.

Maintaining filing systems for financial and administrative records.

Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate paperwork.

Upholding confidentiality and accuracy across all administrative functions.

Providing general administrative support, including document preparation, answering phones, and greeting visitors.

What You Bring to the Role

Working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Experience with payroll and purchase order systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced office.

Professionalism, reliability, and a team-oriented approach.

Work Environment

On-site at the Dealership, interfacing with all other Departmental Personnel and occasionally with vendors and partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
