Hours:

Monday – Friday, full-time. 7am to 4pm; however, this role is project-based and hours may vary based on project schedules, site conditions, marine conditions, weather, client requirements, and business needs. Project Managers should expect to work approximately 50 hours per week, with additional hours as required.
Compensation Range: $100,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.

We are seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to support our Marine Division, with a primary focus on dredging, environmental remediation, shoreline protection, and related marine and civil construction projects.

This role is responsible for managing project planning, coordination, scheduling, communication, documentation, budgets, change management, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and client relationships. The Project Manager works closely with owners, consultants, inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, Site Supervisors, Foremen, operators, crew members, and internal teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on budget, and to company standards.

The successful candidate will bring strong construction knowledge, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Experience with marine construction, dredging, shoreline work, environmental remediation, sheet piling, barges, tugboats, or water-adjacent construction is considered an asset.

• Manage assigned marine and civil construction projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate project schedules, labour, equipment, vessels, barges, tugboats, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, permits, access, and project requirements
• Work closely with Site Supervisors, Foremen, operators, crews, subcontractors, consultants, customers, inspectors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, schedules, site conditions, marine conditions, permits, environmental requirements, and project documentation
• Monitor project progress, productivity, safety, quality, costs, timelines, deficiencies, and overall project performance
• Identify project risks, delays, conflicts, deficiencies, changes, access issues, weather impacts, water level concerns, marine conditions, and site concerns, and elevate or resolve them as required
• Support project planning, sequencing, resource coordination, and day-to-day decision-making
• Help ensure work is completed in accordance with project requirements, company standards, client expectations, and applicable regulations

• Support marine construction activities, including dredging, environmental remediation, shoreline protection, sheet piling, barge-related work, tugboat operations, excavation, material handling, site preparation, restoration, and related civil construction activities
• Coordinate equipment, materials, deliveries, disposal needs, staging areas, access, site logistics, marine logistics, and operational needs for assigned projects
• Work with field teams to support safe and efficient work around water, vessels, barges, equipment, traffic, utilities, slopes, excavations, and changing site conditions
