The RoleUnder the supervision of Front Desk Supervisor, the Front Desk Clerk maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments. They register arriving guests and assign rooms, answer enquiries regarding hotel services and registration, provide information about services available in the community, and respond to guests’ complaints. They compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers. They operate a cash register, debit and credit card swipe system and electronic door key system, and present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment.
QualificationsEducation, Certifications and Licenses
- High School Diploma
Experience
- Experience in hotel reservations systems
- Experience in cash handling
- Experience in phone systems
- Experience in providing customer service

Language Requirements
English Essential.
