Part-Time Millwright Program Educator

Become a part-time educator for the Millwright Apprenticeship program, utilizing innovative teaching techniques in the School of Applied Sciences. Inspire learners and accommodate diverse educational backgrounds in a collaborative setting.

This role, reporting to the Associate Dean, requires a Licensed Industrial Mechanic or Construction Millwright. The educator will develop and deliver course content while ensuring that learning outcomes are met. You will mentor students through personalized feedback and assessments to foster academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach using adult education best practices

• Create and update relevant course materials

• Foster an inclusive educational environment

• Implement alternative delivery strategies for learning

• Utilize learning management systems effectively

Requirements:

• Licensed Industrial Mechanic (433a) or Construction Millwright (426a)

• Relevant experience mentoring apprentices

• Post-secondary teaching experience preferred

• Advanced computer skills for educational tools

• Collaborative skills and strong communication abilities
