Position: Program Instructor for Recreation Classes
Join the City of Belleville as a temporary Program Instructor at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. Teach diverse classes that promote growth in children and youth through play and creativity.

The Community Services Department is looking for two Part Time Program Instructors to create and deliver educational programs. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about youth development, as you'll supervise activities and ensure a safe, engaging environment for participants. You will also handle administrative paperwork and emergency situations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create lesson plans for various youth classes

• Monitor participant safety and activity behavior

• Conduct health and attendance checks each session

• Ensure equipment cleanliness and proper usage

• Participate in all essential training sessions

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with youth programming

• Current First Aid and CPR 'C' Certification

• High Five certification in child development

• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector screening required

• Excellent customer service skills needed
