Loyalist College Manager for Apprenticeships

Drive the success of apprenticeship programs at Loyalist College as the Manager for Apprenticeships.

Your role will center on employer relations, apprentice recruitment, and program administration.

As a key figure reporting to the Dean, you will coordinate apprenticeship activities while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations set by MLITSD and Skilled Trades Ontario. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with employers, develop apprentices, and ensure programs are executed with operational excellence. Your leadership experience and communication skills will be vital in fostering partnerships and managing multiple administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies to engage employers in apprenticeship programs

• Oversee apprentice intake, support, and concerns

• Manage recruitment and performance development of faculty

• Ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting

• Maintain compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:

• 3-year diploma in a relevant area required

• Ontario Certificate of Apprenticeship and Qualification mandatory

• Minimum of 5 years in a related apprenticeship role

• Proven leadership skills in a union environment

• Familiarity with budgeting and stakeholder engagement
