Student Supervision Monitor in Ontario

Location: Quinte West

Support student safety and achievement as a Temporary Student Supervision Monitor with Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. This role prioritizes monitoring students during various school activities and maintaining attendance records.

As a Temporary Student Supervision Monitor, you will report directly to the Principal. Your responsibilities will include supervising students in settings such as cafeterias, hallways, and classrooms. Additionally, you will manage student behavior and attendance, working collaboratively with staff and administration to ensure a safe learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor student behavior during lunch, recess, and class

• Maintain attendance records and report incidents appropriately

• Refer students to support services when necessary

• Create reports related to student attendance and behavior

• Collaborate with staff and parents to support learning

Requirements:

• Completed secondary school with relevant courses

• At least three months working with adolescents

• Proven experience with technology use

• Vulnerable Sector Background check required

• Commitment to inclusive and accessible practices
