Position: Temporary Student Supervision Monitor Role
Location: Quinte West

Enhance student attendance and safety as a Temporary Student Supervision Monitor with Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. This position involves monitoring students in a variety of school environments.

In this role, you will report directly to the Principal while supporting student needs. Your duties will range from supervising students during lunch periods and recess to maintaining data on attendance. Collaborating closely with staff, you will also communicate behavioral consequences effectively and refer students to necessary support services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure student safety in various school settings

• Support management of student behavior and attendance

• Maintain detailed records and documentation

• Generate reports for the administration and support teams

• Work with parents and staff to enhance student learning

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma plus relevant short courses

• Minimum three months of adolescent-related experience

• Demonstrated technological proficiency

• Satisfactory completion of a Vulnerable Sector check

• Commitment to supporting diverse student backgrounds
