Student Supervision Monitor in Education

Become a Student Supervision Monitor at Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board and contribute to a safe educational environment. This temporary role is focused on student attendance and behaviour oversight.

As a Student Supervision Monitor, you will report to the Principal while ensuring student safety across various school settings. Your responsibilities feature monitoring student attendance, managing behaviour, and collaborating with school staff. Effective supervision is key to supporting student needs and achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in cafeterias, libraries, and classrooms

• Manage student behaviour and communicate consequences

• Refer students for support from administration when required

• Generate attendance and behaviour reports for administration

• Work with staff, students, and parents to boost learning

Requirements:

• Minimum completion of secondary school along with short courses

• Three months' experience working with adolescents desired

• Familiarity with technology essential

• Satisfactory completion of a Vulnerable Sector check

• Commitment to an inclusive workplace
