• Pay: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Evenings, Monday to Thursday 3:30pm – 8:00pm
• Term:
Until end of June; summer continuation preferred

Location:

In-person; commutable to Paris, ON. Vulnerable sector screening required.

We welcome applicants who have the majority of the following qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field
• University students in their fourth year with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
• Teaching certification is an asset
• Strong knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum

• Some experience teaching/tutoring at the Kindergarten to Grade 12 level (or equivalent)
• Strong English written and oral communication skills; ability to guide students' understanding
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time

• Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
