Temporary Educational Support Personnel Renfrew

Make a difference at Queen Elizabeth Public School with the Renfrew County District School Board as a Temporary Educational Support Personnel. Provide vital assistance to students while working 35 hours per week.

This full-time role requires a minimum two-year diploma in social services or equivalent experience. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting students with mobility, feeding, toileting, and other essential needs. Additional training in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Behavior Management, and lifting techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this critical role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with toileting, diapering, and feeding

• Assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning of students

• Provide mobility assistance to enhance student participation

• Utilize adaptive technology as needed

• Collaborate with staff to implement care strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum two-year community college diploma in social services

• Proven willingness to perform essential duties

• Additional training in relevant support areas

• Experience with assistive technology is an asset

• Current vulnerable sector screening required
