The City of Belleville seeks three temporary part-time Assistant Skating Instructors within the Recreation Division.

Your role will include ensuring participant safety, providing instructional feedback, and representing the city with professionalism. Strong public relations skills and skating experience are essential to effectively engage with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and supervision of skating participants

• Provide skillful skating instruction and constructive feedback

• Follow all departmental policies and procedures

• Complete necessary paperwork for skating programs

• Attend scheduled training sessions and staff meetings

Requirements:

• High school or college student with skating experience

• Experience working with children in recreational settings

• Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification

• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required

• Previous leadership experience in skating lessons preferred
