Join a dynamic Design Team as a Robotics & Automation Specialist focused on developing innovative automated systems and machinery across Ontario's industrial sectors.
This position requires a seasoned professional with over five years in industrial electrical design and programming. You'll convert client needs into fully engineered solutions, including PLC, HMI, and robot programming. Collaborate with mechanical designers and engineers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop automation concepts and select equipment
• Produce electrical designs and schematics for custom systems
• Create PLC and HMI programs to meet project standards
• Collaborate through the build, integration, and testing phases
• Troubleshoot industrial networks and systems
Requirements:
• Degree in Automation or Mechatronics
• 5+ years of hands-on electrical design experience
• Proficient in CAD for electrical drawings
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with PLC and robot programming
