Position: Senior Mining Planning Manager at Amrize

Lead critical resource assessments as Amrize's Senior Mining Planning Manager. Utilize your expertise in mining engineering to shape regional projects and ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for resource estimation and compliance with SEC SK-1300 regulations in Central Canada. Collaborate with various functional groups to develop effective mining plans that optimize resource use and reduce costs. Your leadership will drive a team of professionals while supporting local units with operational plans and troubleshooting challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage aggregate reserves for compliance with SEC regulations

• Develop short- and long-term mining plans in collaboration with operations

• Lead a team to conduct geological assessments and model building

• Support land management and environmental permitting processes

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field

• 10 years of experience in mining or construction materials

• Professional engineering or geoscience certification

• Proficiency in mining software and GIS mapping tools

• Strong analytical and project management skills
