City Manager of Water Services

Step into a vital leadership role as the City Manager of Water and Wastewater Services with Quinte West. This position calls for a dynamic professional adept in environmental engineering management and public service.

Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the safe operation andpliance of water and wastewater systems. You will organize maintenance activities, direct compliance efforts, and lead teams to meet high performance standards. Strategic budgeting and stakeholder engagement will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct operational activities for water and wastewater treatment

• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation

• Supervise staff and manage project delivery

• Conduct inspections and coordinate compliance reporting

• Develop risk management plans and apply best practices

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering Technology

• 7+ years in municipal water and wastewater services

• Valid Class III Operator’s Licence.

• Strong conflict resolution and management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
