Harris as an Aircraft Certification Authority Engineer (AME M2) in Trenton, ON. This casual role provides a competitive hourly salary from $40.75 to $52.75 while focusing on essential maintenance tasks.

In this role, you'll report to the Operations Supervisor and be responsible for certifying your own work with a Maintenance Release. Holding a Transport Canada AME M2 license, you will work on heavy aircraft systems, including environmental control and flight control systems. The position requires attention to quality, safety, and compliance in all areas of aircraft maintenance, including reporting un-airworthy conditions when required.

You will also utilize certified measuring equipment and maintain cleanliness in the workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Certify maintenance work and report findings accurately

• Utilize calibrated testing equipment for inspections

• Ensure cleanliness of the work area

• Familiarize yourself with L3 MAS policies

• Support the Safety Management System initiatives

Requirements:

• AME M2 license for heavy aircraft maintenance

• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems

• Eligibility for Controlled Goods and government security clearance

• Familiarity with quality assurance processes in aviation

• Participation in safety programs as needed
