Location: quinte west
Join Blue Origin as the Electrical Engineering Lead for the Lunar Cryocooler System, focusing on advanced avionics development and team leadership. This role supports lunar missions through innovative engineering solutions.
You will lead the design and integration of avionics systems that will enable the use of hydrogen as a storable propellant for lunar exploration. With your extensive experience in electrical engineering, you'll oversee project requirements, design, testing, and system integration, ensuring successful delivery within set constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead requirements development and system integration
• Design avionics for the cryocooler system
• Conduct risk analysis and troubleshooting of designs
• Participate in safety initiatives and process improvements
• Report on development progress and challenges
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Minimum 7 years of relevant design experience
• Knowledge of power electronics and circuit design
• Familiarity with space application design practices
• Strong collaborative and independent working skills
