Xcimer Energy seeks a skilled Control Systems Engineer to enhance manufacturing operations. This role necessitates expertise in PLC programming, industrial robotics integration, and fieldbus architectures, particularly EtherCAT. Candidates will contribute to new manufacturing line setups while maintaining a hands-on approach throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and commission PLC-based control systems
• Support new manufacturing line deployments
• Program and debug PLC software using IEC 61131-3
• Integrate robotics for various industrial applications
• Develop machine safety systems to meet compliance standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Control Engineering
• 3+ years experience in control systems for manufacturing
• Proficiency with EtherCAT and PLC platforms
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and software issues
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
