Location: Quinte West
Elevate your engineering career with Blue Origin as a Cryocooler Design Engineer. This Thermal/Fluids Engineer III role focuses on vital analyses crucial for lunar missions.
Joining the Lunar Permanence unit, you will work closely with engineers and technicians to perform extensive thermal and fluid analyses for cutting-edge cryocoolers.
Your role will involve optimizing designs through comprehensive trade studies while ensuring the integrity of performance metrics. Actively contribute to the vital task of developing systems for transporting crew and cargo from Earth to the Moon.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize cryocooler designs through thermal analyses
• Effectively interpret and communicate test data
• Author supporting documentation for design evaluations
• Lead readiness and design review activities
• Create and support test procedures for cryogenic systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Minimum 5 years in thermal/fluid system design
• Experience with FEA/CFD tools
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
